Eastbourne is a village situated
half an hour by train from London. Eastbourne is the
favourite holiday destination of many people in England. School in Eastbourne
is located near the shopping centre surrounded by many caffees,
restaurants and sport clubs. There is a caffee with the view on the
garden in the school of Eastbourne. There is a heated
swimming pool near the garden. In the evenings the students organize
parties, competitions and play games, e.g. tennis, squash,
basketball or volleyball. On free days the employees of the School
organize fantastic trips to London, Oxford or Canterbury.

and 26 December 2008 the classes are neither held nor made up for
later.
SEMESTER COURSE - International Semester Courses
(ISC)
Courses with discount for students staying on the course 24
or more weeks, for those who seek maximal contact with English
language, life and culture. It may include preparation for
examinations such as: IELTS, TOEFL, FCE,
CAE or CPE. It is also possible to take part in afternoon classes of
Business English or English in Tourism. Options mentioned above are
included in the price for whole-day ISC courses, but are also
available for those taking part in morning courses for additional
payment in the amount of 180 GBP for 4 weeks. Participants of
the ISC course have the opportunity to study at one of two or three
colleges in Great Britain, USA or Canada during the course, but the
college has to be chosen in the moment of enrolling on the course.

telephone calls, negotiations, meetings, conferences etc. Level
required:intermediate and higher.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available on Sunday in the evening, before the
course starts, till Sunday after the end of the course. Students who
chose the accommodation in double room pay as for single room if one
of the persons resigns or if we cannot find a roommate for this
student.

Transfer from the airport
Charge for transfer from the
airport to the place of accommodation is:
- London Heathrow - 95 GBP
- London Gatwick - 72 GBP
- Luton - 130 GBP

It is price for one-way transfer. For
waiting for the student (e.g. if the flight is delayed) you have to
pay additionally 12 GBP for every hour above 1 hour of delay. Persons
ordering trnasfer together pay additionally 7 GBP for picking up to
every additional place of accommodation.
How to become the student at St. Giles
Colleges?
All
issues concerning the course, booking, arrival, journey etc. may be
settled in person or by mail at College of Foreign Languages
"LEXIS" or with our
Representative. When you choose the course, accommodation and other
services you are asked to fill in the application form, sign the
contract and pay the agreed amount in PLN on our bank account "LEXIS".
The application form, one copy of the contract and confirmation of
payment should be sent to us by mail or fax, so that we receive it 2
weeks before the course starts (persons from other towns contact our
Representative).
Before you leave you will receive:
ˇ confirmation of the admission to the
course together with a special letter for the border authorities in
Great Britain so that you do not have any problems entering Great
Britain,
ˇ ticket for your journey - if you leave from Warsaw (persons leaving
from other cities in Poland contact our Representative),
ˇ confirmation of the booking of your accommodation together with the
address, telephone and short characteristic of the host family,
ˇ bill for all services you paid for.
