COURSES 2018 UNIWORLD ENGLISH COLLEGE
English for International Communication - available at all levels.
The English for International Communication program offers General English lessons from 4 to 48 weeks. This program helps you develop your general skills in English and helps you practice communicating accurately and fluently with English speakers from around the world. This program focuses on spoken communication but also helps you develop your writing, reading and listening skills, as well as improving your grammar and vocabulary.

English for IELTS and TOEFL - available to students with an intermediate level of English proficiency or above.
The English for IELTS and TOEFL program (from 4 to26 weeks) helps you develop the skills and knowledge required for English examinations needed to gain entry to universities and collages. The course helps you improve your academic writing and writing skills, formal and informal speaking skills and your essay writing skills. 

English for Tertiary Entrance
The course is an academic English program specially designed for students wishing to progress to a tertiary institution such as a University. It is designed to teach skills as essay writing, critical analysis, analytical thought, research, note taking skills and time-management techniques. Students will bedenfit from this academic program which also features lectures and tutorial format classes.


English for High School.
This course is for students under age of 18 who are planning to undertake High School studies. The course compromises English language training, academic study skills development, introduction to school subjects, supervised self study, homework, social and sports activities. The English for High School course is based on communicative principles and a holistic approach to education. It assists learners in developing general communication competency and the specific linguistic and study skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing required to continue their secondary education in Australia.

Uniworld College offers not only regular courses but our college provides students with additional course per week. Students can choose field that they are interested in.  Actual fields: Work&Business, Pronounciaton, Public performance, IT course, Vocabulary, Grammar, Press, Writing, Communication, Recreation.

Firstly, students are obliged to obtain a Business Certificate, and then they can study for Diploma in various fields of Business. Next, they can continue studying for an Advanced Diploma in fields of Business.  

Requirements
UBC will require from students copies of graduating from high school. Students, who did not graduate from High School,  must provide a document which is the evidence of sufficient proficiency in English (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 530). Students can also start Business Courses when they pass "Intermediate Level" in Uniworld English Course or another equivalent in another college in Australia.

THE ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF BUSINESS MARKETING

Course Description
The Advanced Diploma of Business (Marketing) introduces and expands on specialised aspects of marketing such as strategic, services and direct marketing, product management and research.
These areas of study are examined, researched and applied by students to encourage professional development of skills to be used in the workforce. The course builds on the foundation obtained from the Certificate of Business (Marketing) and the Diploma of Business (Marketing).

Accreditated by Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB).

ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Course Description
The course aims at preparing and executing a project plan in consultation with the program facilitator and analyzing the outcomes. Students know how to implement procedures for the monitoring, maintenance and evaluation of selected managerial strategies, and employ techniques others to achieve organizational goals. 

Accredited by Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB).

Accommodation

Uniworld College can arrange homestay accommodation for you or can help you to find other types of accommodation. A placement fee is payable for this service.

Homestay  (4 weeks or more)

Homestay Accommodation gives you the opportunity to experience Australian family life. In the homestay you will have your own bedroom with study facilities and the fee includes breakfast and evening meals from Monday to Friday, and all meals at weekends.

Booking
We kindly request you to inform us about your accommodation's booking at least 6 weeks in advance.

General fees:
accommodation placement fee: $ 150
homestay fee (over 18): $ 240/week
homestay fee (under 18): $ 210/week
airport pickup fee: $ 110
guardian placement fee: $ 150
guardian fee: $ 30/week

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Frequency - you are obliged to be present at 80 % of course's lessons.

Fees - prices have been actual since 2001; however, the Uniworld College is entitled to change them.

Accommodation - Uniworld College can arrange homestay accommodation for you or can help you to find other types of accommodation. A placement fee is payable for this service. 

Resignation
In the case of resignation or cancellation you are obliged to inform us about your resignation at least 2 weeks before the course starts. In other case student looses the charges for one-week course (190$). Charges for booking accommodation and airport pickup service (
$90) will not be refunded under any circumstances. 

Arrival's change:
You should inform us about changing the date of arrival at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid a disapointment.

IMPORTANT INFO

1) If the student is refused a visa for study or for an extension of study in Australia, the tuition fee, guardian fee, materials fee and the homestay fee will be refunded in full within 4 weeks after receiving a written claim from the student provided that all original documents and an original letter from the Australian Embassy, High Commission or Immigration Office are supplied to UEC. 

2) If a student cancels their course no later that 28 days before it is due to commence, the enrolment fee plus 30% of the tuition fee will be forfeited.

3)No refund will be given to any student who cancels once a course has commenced.
