If you are 10 to 16 years old, you love sports
and you would like to improve your English knowledge and sports
skills with professional trainers in an exceptional company,
Exsportise Junior Summer Camp is an ideal choice for you!
Exsportise understands how important are
sports for a young person's development. Teamwork,
leadership, motivation, discipline and above all making friends are
the essence of doing sports.
Participants learn English and then use
it, among other situations, on the sports pitch. This gives an
opportunity to use in action the knowledge acquired and motivates
further learning. The international atmosphere of the camp also
helps the students to brush up their English.
Exsportise obliges itself to professional and
friendly attitude. From the moment of the first encounter until your
return home there will always be somebody from the Exsportise team
ready to help you.
The Exsportise coaches form a professional and
devoted team that cares for safety during sports classes. It is made
up mainly of professional sports coaches and language experts
accredited by the British Council.
We are offering you a unique sports and
language programme:
English & Sport
This offer is intended for students who wish
to combine English learning with sports activities. Each day is
divided between an interactive English course and the chosen sport.
The mornings are devoted to the sport
chosen out of the following:
football, basketball, dancing, hockey, horse riding, golf, rugby,
swimming and tennis. Afternoons are devoted to English classes in a
group of appropriate level.
Sports camps take place in three locations in England, with
convenient connections to three London airports: Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.
Each school can boasts beautiful surroundings, convenient accommodation
and high standard of the educational and sports facilities.
These are the
locations of Exsportise:
Clayesmore School
This school has a hint of magic to it. It is
located on 62 acres of Dorset landscape, with easy access to towns
such as Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, Bath and Bristol. The
objects located on the school grounds include sports pitches and
tennis courts, a golf course, an indoor swimming pool and horse
stables.
Oundle
School
This school has a tradition that dates back to
1556. The school grounds spread in the picturesque English landscape
of the town Oundle, near Peterborough. The school's sports objects
include a number of sports pitches and courses, an indoor swimming
pool and a running track.
Seaford College
The school is situated on 400 acres of
beautiful green in the shade of South Downs near Bringhton and other
towns located on the south coast. The sports objects include sports
pitches and courses, an indoor tennis complex, a golf course and an
outdoor pool.
LEARNING English
A language and sports camp is a wonderful
opportunity for members of many countries to meet young people from
Britain, who also participate in the sports camps. The group size is
between 4 and 14 students.
At the beginning of their stay the participants' knowledge of
English is assessed in order to find an appropriate level for each
student. The classes are conducted in such a way that allows the
students to get to know each other better.
Hint: on arrival, you should have been learning
English for at least a year.
English teachers
The teachers from Exsportise are enthusiastic, qualified and
experienced. Before they start teaching at Exsportise, they undergo
training on how to teach with non-standard methods.
TRIPS
If a participant stays in the camp over the
weekend, he may enjoy trips (included in the price of the camp). A
group is always supervised by at least one member of the Exsportise
staff (a group is made up of 6-10 people) who is responsible for the
group when they go out. The students are being prepared for the trips by
learning vocabulary connected with the trip's destination. The
camp's students can relax by going to an aqua park or an amusement
park such as Longleat, Thorpe Park or the Chessington World of
Adventure.
Members of the camp have an opportunity to see some sights of the
English heritage, famous landscapes and places popular with tourists
such as London, Bath, Brighton, Bournemouth or Cambridge.
in the evening...
After a whole day of physical and mental
activity there comes the time of the deserved evening rest! Members
of the sports and English camp can take part in barbecues, Friday
discos or quiz nights. If you wish simply to read a book, socialise
with friends, watch a film on TV or a DVD - no problem. If the
weather allows, highland games, crazy Olympic Games and night races
with the coaches are organized.
Younger students stay on the camp's grounds
all the time (they do not go out unattended), older students, on
the other hand, may go out to the cinema or go bowling.
