This advanced course
for non-native speakers of English revolves around the art of public
speaking, writing, learning, and engaging with language and your
audience. The course provides participants with an opportunity to
practice their communication skills and develop confidence in
delivering presentations in English as well as in writing perfectly
structured texts.
Communication Arts classes at LEXIS School, cover the most
important facets of effective communication (verbal & non-verbal) and are designed to help
students refine writing and speaking skills.

The main parts of the Communication group
course
Part one - Oral and written communication
|
The first part
is about excellent presentations. Public speaking is a challenge
to most people. You will be shown several steps that can be
taken to meet this challenge The delivery of the presenter and
the structure and content of the presentation are crucial to
achieve the desired results. You will learn about the
arrangement of ideas, style and skills necessary to organise
presentations, including learning how to select content,
structure a presentation from the very beginning to the very
end, and connecting with the audience. |
Part two - Oral and written communication
|
The second part will take
participants through the process of writing from simple
paragraphs to more complex writing structures and eventually
essay and speech writing. It will help you raise the level of
your skills and make you more aware of the type of writing you
can expect as a fluent speaker of English who will have to use
the English language for various professional tasks and needs.
You will gain a foundation for college-level writing and will
learn how to write effective arguments, letters and various
documents, understand the writing process, engage with others’
ideas, cite accurately, and craft powerful speeches. |
Part three - Oral and written communication
|
The third part is special, as you
are to learn how to use your knowledge of English appropriately
in various situations and for a number of formal occasions and
events. The information that will be presented is not easy to
find, as we will frequently rely on original documents sent or
given to the teacher during his work abroad. We will consider
language as a part of culture. Language expresses, embodies and
symbolises cultural reality. |

The fourth part is about teaching
you how to develop various language skills, vocabulary and
grammar. |
Communication for individuals -

Our courses could be tailored to your needs, so you
make the right impact with your future clients / interlocutors.
Students will practice advanced communication skills in various
contexts and for a variety of purposes, such as Skype interviewing,
online team presentations, and written performance plans and
evaluations. Additional topics may include business relations,
diplomatic protocol and etiquette (both oral and written), online
presence, stress interviews, negotiating contracts and salaries, and
professional networking.
Fees & How to Apply?
The course includes 60 classes, that means 15
meetings per 4 classes. Classes are held only on Saturdays from
10:00 to 13:15.
