The adventure camp (a beautifully restored former hotel) is south of Munich right next to one of the most pristine lakes in the German Alps, Lake Spitzingsee. The view is wonderful, looking out of the window you will see either lake or mountains. Our Adventure Camp is fantastic if you like sports & adventure - you will have lots of fun after German classes: we will go hiking with a GPS, build rafts or sleep outside by the campfire. Munich is just 50 km away, and every week we organize 2 trips to Munich. Kids will get to see all the highlights like Olympiastadium, Schloss Nymphenburg and of course Hofbrδuhaus.

The camp is 40 km to the south
of Munich in Josefstal, a typical Bavarian village in Alps. Kids live with German
children who spend their summer holiday
there too. They also participate in all the extra activities after
lessons, what helps to improve their speaking
skills. GLS school is located in mountainous terrain, almost on 8
hundred meters above the sea level.
Location:
Campus "Studienzentrum Josefstal" (Training Centre of Evangelical
Church) is situated in the countryside, called Josefstal in the
Bavarian Alps, 5 km from Schliersee Lake, 40 kilometers to the south
of Munich.

Location:
A castle - Burg Schwaneck - that was built in 1843 and has been
carefully restored by modern standards in order to serve as an
educational institution. The castle is within Munich city, located 10
km south of the city center (15 minute train ride to city center),
in a wealthy residential district of Munich. Surrounded by a huge
park right next to River Isar. The castle has rooms for 70 students.
Students come from up to 60 countries.
Facilities:
Spacious classrooms with historical touch, 10 rooms with 4 to 5 beds
reserved for GLS, knights hall, lounge, Internet cafe, bowling,
pool, playground in the park, table tennis, cafeteria

High School in
Germany offers studying German language as well as every important
subjects. It is great opportunity for those who wants to improve German
language without neglecting school. There are two options: public or
private school. Unfortunately, in public school pupils cannot take the
matura exam, because staying in the school has to last longer than 11
months. Student has to study min. 2 years in order to take the matura
exam.
Requirements
15-18 years old (in private school -12-18 years old)
average point grade is equal or higher than 3.0 (grading system in
Germany starts from 1-6)
A good knowledge of German has to be properly evidenced by 3 years of
studying in school or ZD certification (Zertifikat Deutsch)
willingness to accept new culture, living conditions and flexibility

its location, and a profile.
IF you want to study to public school, you do not have a lot of choices.
Student are able to pick out the region where school is located. The
places which are without any additional costs such as Berlin or Bavaria
(cities like Bayreuth, Kulmbach, Bamberg).
